Gravesend and a newly built extension confronted
us with a 1.8m drop from the patio doors. We constructed a
raised deck with handrails for safety and created a storage area
underneath, so as to eliminate the need for a garden shed.
The storage area was lined with exterior ply and sealed to make
it weather tight.
